M. Zed Christian School was founded on the BELIEFS that:
- We are to be a loving community that influences the establishment of integrity, discipline, grace and faith in Jesus.
- Education is our means of spreading love & faith through teaching the Holy Bible to students and incorporating Biblical Values in the lessons.
- Every student has unique capacities and gifts and that they should be encouraged to develop their skills and passion so that they may contribute to the development of their community and effectively follows God’s plan for their lives.

Biblical-Based Community Culture
The greatest strength of M. Zed Christian School is that its culture is founded with Biblical values and principles that is much needed in these troubled times. In an atmosphere full of anxiety, loss, and depression, the M. Zed Christian School community is constantly reminded to root itself in Christ, who is our ever-present help in time of need. With this strength, the School hopes that through the M. Zed Community, other people will see Christ’s Light through the faith, courage, and joy of each M. Zed family member.
EdTech School (Education Technology School)
The School has always believed in utilizing 21st century tools that equip children to develop skills for a digital future. Being an EdTech School since 2016, we believe that the future is now. For this regard, M. Zed has always put priority in investing in its Teachers to advance their knowledge in EdTech integration. Additionally, to prepare our graduates for the digital world, the Senior High School levels is a fully integrated EdTech curriculum with its 1:1 iPad Program.
At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the design and creation of the M. Zed Remote Learning Action Plan or M. Zed RLAP for the shift to full-on remote online learning was fairly instinctive given that the School has been a staunch advocate of the marriage of education and technology.
Individualized Learning Curriculum
The School has been using the Accelerated Christian Education Program or A.C.E. Program provided by the School of Tomorrow® Philippines for its Pre-School to Grade 10 Programs.The A.C.E. Curriculum was specifically designed as an educational strategy thats ensures learning mastery, critical thinking and reasoning skills, goal setting and academic excellence achievement. Its learning tool or what is called Packet of Accelerated Christian Education or PACE®, are “bite-sized, achievable worktexts”. Each PACE integrates “Godly character-building lessons into academic content, and self-instructional activities”.
M. Zed Christian School had no major need to change the teaching instruction required for remote learning.

History
The School was founded in 1997, 7th of December by couple Mr. Marianito O. Zerda and Mrs. Cecille Badana-Zerda. Coming back to Cebu from Brunei, the couple, together with their 5 children, answered the call of the Lord to open an educational institution to help spread the Gospel of faith and love as Christ has taught.
